ok the pushrods that were in it were 6.375. I had some stock 6.25 lying around so I put them in just for testing purposes. The driver side makes almost no noise now while the passanger side is still LOUD. The pushrods I took out had been damaged besides just being bent. Some holes had been almost crushed shut while other holes had been made larger. I am starting to think maybe it's been lifters the whole time. Maybe they had put in incorrect longer pushrods due to bad lifters and not knowing any better?? Driver side sounds almost perfect now with the 6.25 pushrods.Passanger side sounds about the same as it has from the start of all this. The overall sound of the car idling has gotten slightly better.

maybe he flipped the lifter internals around to make a solid lifter to measure geometry and didnt put them back to a hydro lifter and the geometry is all wrong. have your inspected the lifters yet?

Looks really good with the 6.25's on. Wear pattern looks alot better then with the 6.375's

No I haven't checked any lifters out as of yet. I never had a reason to till now. Why would someone make that many lifters into solids? I doubt that is the problem. Going to go ahead and order some new lifters and put em in when I do the new pushrods when they come in.

oh trust me...i've encountered some dumb ****....dont rule anything out unless you've inspected it yourself,ESPECIALLY if someone else has touched it other than yourself. even then sometimes you gotta check your own work.

After seeing the damage to the roller rockers I imagine anythng is possible. New lifters should be here Friday.
