ive pretty much already decided where im buying the hood from. can get a 3" bolt on for 169, a 4" for 199 and so on. im just not sure what size to get. i want it to look sexy, but not like a red neck from the sticks. its a beautiful car, mint in and out, dark blue with cobra r wheels. just really want it to flow well with the rest of the car

I think a small cowl hood looks really good. For example this 2 1/2 one. Its noticible yet not to big. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

I think a smaller cowl is definitely the way to go, the 2.5" looks really sharp. I hate when people put 4" hoods on street cars that are running a bolt on engine, so gay.

Why bother if you don't need it? especially on a daily driver, it will let water and other stuff into the engine bay.
I have 351 and I am actually putting in motor mounts that are 3/4" shorter so I don't need the bigger hood. I would prefer to run my engine with a stock hood, keeps people guessing but I have to have a cowl hood to clear.
