Hey guys whats up, I am planning on painting the notch before summer ends and I'm planning on going with the stock red, I just don't know which red or what the official name of the red is, can somebody gimme a hand in trying to find out the official name to my shade of red.

is this what you are looking for? it looks like theres a couple of different reds available. you can search each red and see which one most matches. hope i help you

 

Also there are usually slight changes from one year to the next, even if the color has the same name. This is denoted by a letter in the paint code.

 

Thanks alot guys I found it! I found it on the link to american muscle and I looked at the VIN and it appears to be Medium Red, that is the least producted red made that year, ONLY 221 of them, and I wonder how many of those 221 mustangs that year were 5.0's not to mention a notchback with all black interior with only 80k miles original paint and a clean tittle......


Damn, I guess I have a pretty rare car huh guys???
