Default starter problems

my starter has been grinding. It's better just to let you hear it than try to explain it though so here you go.

it started doing that while that engine was still in the 85 and when it wouldn't crank anymore I would have to get a new starter and that would fix it for about 5-6 months or so and then it would happen again. well this last time I changed the starter drive and flywheel I changed it last week and you see what it sounds like now? Anybody have any suggestions as to what might be going on

Check your ring gear, starter gear and see if your block plate is broken. You don't shim Ford starters.

After re-reading your post, you replaced the two, so it will be your block plate that is your culprit if you have the right starter/ring gear combo
