Default Bog Problem

So the old man has finally handed down the 88 lx, but with a problem. If I give it anymore than 1/2 throttle it bogs like hell, and it wont stop bogging until I let off and give it normal throttle again.

He had changed the tps and changed the distributor because he thought both of those would cure the problem but they didn't. My integra needed new plugs and it was doing a similar thing but I can't tell if its not getting spark or not getting fuel. And I don't want to spend money on something I don't need at the moment.

Any ideas?
Thanks

My car started doing the same thing randomly just after I bought it. I checked the timing and it was way way off. Just a possible idea

The timing is advanced but has never had caused problems before. Could it just start causing problems out of no where?

If it managed to advance itself a little too far it would detonate..check the timing? Make sure your plug wires aren't arcing to one another or to the block.

timing was the problem with mine. Then I advanced my timing when I put in my msd distributor and coil and it was a bad idea in my case. The motor sounded more responsive and powerful but actually hurt my performance and ran hotter. So I turned it back to factory spec and it runs great

I had the same exact problem, ended up being a clogged air filter stupid 94/95's are too sensitive! anyways take you air filter off and drive it down the street i bet it gets better trust me when i say i went through the same thing with mine, if that doesn't work its your ignition coil. mine had this issue come up twice and the 2nd time was the coil.
