Default Reverse shifting pattern?

well my car ive been having trouble with it not wanting to shift so i took a look at my gt and the car that wont shift its shifting pattern is backwards the gt's shift pattern is
front of car < prnd321 or however it is set up and then the one that wont shift its pattern is
Front of car <123dnrp and there both aod transmissions with the way this aod is shifting its pushing my tv cable forward and putting alot of pressure on the trans which is making it so it wont shift till high speeds just so you know ive never driven on this trans i bought the car with a blown engine and just got it running

Why don't you adjust the tv cable? When someone is talking about a reverse shift pattern it isn't the whole thing, it is just the foward drive gears. PRN will be in the same positions.

I'm the one that has been doing the work the whole shifting pattern is backwards from the stock aod and adjusting the cable doesnt help because when u put it in gear it pushs the kick down cable bracket on the trans forward so then it makes it hold out the gears
