Would it be beneficial, for HP, to get rid of my EGR? As some of you know, I'm getting my heads ported, and over-sized valves, (stock heads), and I was wondering if getting rid of EGR would give me a few more ponies. Can't help but think that just the temp. increase from EGR is bad for HP. Let me know what you all think, thanks.

Doesn't do much either way, it's there for emmissions. If you lose the egr, keep it and the stock heads if you live in a state that requires them. You may want to sell it someday, and in CA the seller is responsible for the smog check.

That's true, even when you had an "as is" sale. But if the buyer is the type of person to back out of the deal, then heprobably undervalued the carat DMV. Just offer to take the car back and refund the purchase price-the one reported to DMV! hehehe</P>
