Default Fuel level gauge..

So my fuel level gauge doesnt work in my coupe, and i seen a reproduction sender is like $80. I also seen a cheapie sunpro gauge and sender is like $30 total, will sunpro do the job? If i got the sunpro one it would just be temp. What do you guys think?

although dropping the tank is not a big job in itself, prep for it is. draining the fuel, etc.. i'd personally only want to to do it once.

Well i need something temp. so im not worried about prep and what not. Hell, if the gauge works good and i can find somewhere to put it semi-out of site i might just leave it. I wish i had some spare change to buy a autometer one to match the rest of my gauges but i just spent tons of money on 2 drag radials and 2 new front runners..

^^^^my bad.......but still not 80.00.........although with Latemodel restoration NEW JOKE POLICY on flat rate of 14.95 shipping, I guess it is 80.00 now.........I ordered a few small clips and a sending unit and them ******* gave me a 14.95 flat rate fee for a box that fit in one hand....however when i STILL hadn't recieved it after 2 weeks I called and asked where it was and they had neglected to tell me the sending unit was on back order so they were holding the order still......so they ended up cutting off the shipping in the end but still.....no matter how small the order is if it goes in a box 14.95

thats why i shop at Summit.

flat rate shipping. So my orders are usually held off for as long as I can go, and I get everything all in one shot.
