ok I know this kid with a 1994 mustang gt with around 120,000 miles on it and the onnly thing done to it is flowmaster. I have a 89 mustang gt with 180,000"yes i know it has to be rebuilt",(3.55's, 70 mm throttle body, k@n filter, msd, ignition, flowmasters, sunframe connectors, all new springs and shocks, aluminum driveshaft)plus i can drive better then he can. everyday he says that he can take me from a dead stop because my cars a convertible so its a girls car and that it has so many miles that its a snail. i would race him but i took the insurence off the car for the winter. Who would win in a quarter mile run?

 

u for sure, it has more air resistance since its a convertible, but u have enough mods to make up for it! wait till spring and race, kick his butt, then hell shut up!

for some odd reason the sn95 5.0s are alot slower than the foxs maybe because they way more than the foxes. and yes you should wip up on him. as long as your motor is heathy

i feel your pain, i have a 91 mustang lx 5.0 convertible and all the jealous pinheads with there five tone primar honda hatchbacks say its a girl car, until i smoke the bejeebus outta them. i dont see how a convertible is automaticly qualified as a chick car. but whatever floats there rice boats.

 

there jeleous cause they don't make a honda convertible...
