Default flywheel loose

I was wondering if there is a way to check and see if the flywheel is loose on my 94 gt without pulling the trans and bellhousing. someone told me there was a cover that can be removed to check?

where the clutch fork is you may be able to reach in with a small prybar and push on it or at least grab the pressure plate with a prybar and try and wiggle it

Sounds like you need to take the time and start looking at stuff. Do what MJR said or even remove the starter and see what it looks like. Spine the motor over by hand and check the teeth as well just in case.
