Default Engine and trans

I'm putting a new engine into a 93 Mustang. Has the AOD trans in it. My buddy can hook up me with a free 5.0 from a 94 thunderbird that used an AODE trans. Would I have any problems trying
to match that up while still keeping a fuel injected set
up? Thank you

yes the 94 motor will work in your 93... but you cannot use the timing cover or any of the accessories

Alright now when you say accessories... Do you mean alternator and water pump? Or are we talking like no 93' cams, no turbo, no 93' pistons?
