Default Mustang Computer

Does anyone know of a website that identifies every Mustang Computer between 87 and 93???

APL?
A3M?
A9L?
etc.........

I have a 90' Mustang gt, converted from AOD to a T5.
I still have the Automatic/computer in my car.

Which computers will work in mine?

You can use the one that is in it now. A9L is what the manual cars had in them.

The first one is for the 93 Cobra. From A9L to D3D1 are for manuals and A9M to A9T are automatics. A9s and 8LD are California manual, and the 8L and 8LG are California automatics. These are all MAF computers that came in the Mustang from 89-93(88-93 for California).

No it is for non California automatic. Only the last four are california PCMs.

If you are in the market for a PCM, get the A9L.

I'm finding a lot of A9L, A9P, and A9S.. And they seem to be the cheaper ones on Ebay.

1.) I found a rather cheap A9S. Do you guys think this is ok for my set-up??
2.) Is it true that you get better acceleration and response with a California computer, as well as lowered emissions, and someone told me it takes away the rev limiter??

thanks in advance.
