Hello guys, Im new to this website. i found it whilst looking for help and i do believe i've died and gone to heaven. a forum dedicated to STANGS. Lord in heaven thank you!
Anyways, I have a 1994 Canary yellow Mustang GT 3 spd (4 with o/d) Automatic that bogs down occasionally (RPMS drop below 1k while driving/turning) Im sick of it, i want to feel my ride. I would like to know HOW and WHAT i need for a transmission swap to MANUAL. I have been reading up around the net and i have noticed 3 types i believe fit my stang.
TKO?....T-54?.....T-5? Whats the difference between these? which would work best with a soon to be installed supercharger+ stock engine? and how/what is the process to do this swap?
i would also like to know what i would need for a complete transition from auto to manual. List of parts please?
Im currently working at lowes and shooting for UTI (universal technical institute) I love cars, (Mustangs-Fords being number one) and i would like to know more about mine, about what to do with my transmission.
Thanks,
Michael Mooney

i hope you arent going to UTI to make a career out of it because this is the wrong time to do so. i graduated 2 years ago and i am always looking for a new job because shops are so freaking slow. if i were you i would go to a real college, i certainly wish i did.
