Well I haven't actually removed my Kmember in a long time but doesn't it just bolt right in with no problems? You could just measure from the front of the car somewhere under the frame and make sure it is the same distance on both sides.

i didnt really bother "squaring off" my k-member when i put it in. But when I got to the shop for the alignment, we hooked a couple tie-downs to it, loosened all 8 bolts, and the motor mounts, set my C/C plates as centered as we could and got the caster set as best as possible, then finalized the adjustments with the plates after tightening everything else up

ah k. I was just curious because i was reading maximum motorsports and they give you a big write up from measure from the chasis end of the rear control arms to a point on the kmember cross reference it to the otherside and so on so on.

Afterward getting an alignment will also take care of most if not all tiny misalignments made by any slack in the k member.

Do you really think Ford measured EVERY single fox body k-member for perfect alignment when it came out of the factory? Hell no they slap that **** together for bottom dollar.

The maximum instructions make it more complicated that it in. All you have to do is drop a plumb bob off the rear control arm bolts in the chassis and then a place on the k-member. Then just measure straight back to get it perpendicular with the car. Then cross measure to get it centered left to right.
