Default 24lb injectors

hi i have a 95 5.0 HO convt auto and i was wondering what i have to do to be able to get my car to run smoothe with the 24lb injectors. I had them on my car along with an x pipe, flowmasters, gt40 intake, and an after market intake and it would flood the car out at idle and the motor would quit. The car would also shake like crazy at idle but the car had huge power gains over the stock 19lb. i pulled the 24lb and put the stock ones in to stop the stalling and shaking but i would love to put them back in. what i am asking is what do i need to buy so my car can handle these 24lb injectors and not flood or shake? i assume i need more air but how do i get it without forced induction? is there a chip i can buy? any info at all would be helpful. thanks zach

you need a calibrated mass air flow sensor....

OR.... a custom tune for your ECM

^^^^no, the calibration for the 24's on the cobra's is contained within the ecm on those........and huge power gains by only installing 24's??? sounds like the ole azz o'meter needs some cal too????

going from a 19 to a 24 seems kind of pointless to me. Just up the pressure unless you already are and running out of injector. in that case seems like you would be going bigger than 24's. Just my 2 cents. Can't imagine getting a bunch of power from a 24.

19's will easily supply enough fuel to your set up, so you don't really even need those 24's right now.
Leave them off for now, but hang on to them for the time when you'll actually need them.

lol no it didnt. you gained no hp at all going to 24s over the 19s. your combo is hardly better then stock therefor all you need is the stock injectors. larger injectors dont add hp unless you have the air flow to warrant them
