Default Next Mod

Hey everyone, Ive been gone for a long time but now I'm back. I had to take the insurance off the stang for a while cuz money was a little tight but i just started driving it again this week. I need advice on what to get next. My current mods are listed in my sig and im having a ford e cam put in in about a month. So here are my options, should i get some 1.7 rockers and taller valve covers to go with the cam, some shorty headers, or a 65mm throttle body and egr spacer? I found a throttle body (not just the housing) and spacer on ebay for 150 and thats looking pretty tempting....

i definately wouldnt get the Ecam or the 1.7s unless you get higher lift valve springs put in or you will have serious vavle float above 6000rpm. the next thing on your list should be gears in my opinion. if you dont want to go with gears then start with the TB and spacer, or a bigger MAF.

Well i want to go with gears eventually but when i do it, i want to rebuild the rear end, and the cost of that and the installation just isnt in the cards for me right now.

Also, if i go with the throttle body, should i go 65mm or 70mm? I already have the E cam so its going in no matter what, I just wanted to see what you guys thought of putting in the new rockers when i do the cam.

stay with the 65mm tb you dont need the 70mm. A bigger maf would be a good idea too.

with the mods you have now, your car is basically stock, maybe a 5HP differance from stock to the wheels. the Ecam in my opinion is a bad move right now. but if you must do the swap go back with 1.6s. alot of people say dont go with a 70mm throttle body but dont know why they say it (probably b/cause the have read it so many times) the fact is that it wont hurt anything throttle response isnt as crisp as with the 65mm unless you have a pretty mild setup with bigger inj, heads, intake, cam. i can go on and on but it sounds like you have already made the decision on your "next mod" so i will let someone else pick up where i left off.

No i really have no idea what to do next. I shouldnt have mentioned puting in the cam cuz what i really mean is what should i do after the cam. I really only mentioned the cam to see if putting on 1.7s would be good while I'm in there. I got the cam for free and a family friend is gonna help me put it in for free. Thank you everybody that has replied so far, I'm really trying to remember everything i used to know about mustangs. Sorry if i'm being difficult i just have a lot of questions.
