Then subframe strengtheners.

Weight reduction.

 

first dont buy a CAI. just get a K&N panel filter, mod the air box some and replace the tube after the MAF with a smooth piece [like a C&L tube]
get some shorties, OR H pipe, a nice catback
pullies,advance the timing, adjust teh TPS.

for AOD get 3k stall,deep tranny pan, shift kit, A or better servo
for T5 get a good shifter

gears do help out a good bit if you want good amount of acceleration [but also loose topend]

there you go typical beginner mods that work very well together

 

I would go with gears, full exaust, bigger t.b, maf with cold air intake and a short throw shifter if its stick or shift kit if its auto. that should give u a noticable difference and some extra hp.
