I found the single prong and I see a black box attached to the metal under my strut tower that says eec test with the same wires running to it. The problem I have is it seems the black box does not want to open or detach from the steel? this is the correct peice to hook into my scanner correct? There was a plastic latch / connector but it broke off. It seems simple enough but just does not want to open/detach and dont want to break it.

I was able to disconnect it was broken and just did not want to break it more. So completed the koeo test and got code 15,16 and 66.
