Default removing the heater

ok so my heater on my 93 doesnt work so i wanted to remove it completely to shed a few pounds can anyone guide me to what i have to remove

1) You're not gonna save enough weight to make a bit of difference.

2) It's illegal to drive on public roadways without a heather under Federal Law.

Did not know this? hmm

But isnt also highly frowned upon to not use catalytic converters as well :P

The heater is required as part of basic safety equipment under Federal law in order to have a window defroster/defogger. So it's not the heater core itself per se, but a front windshield defroster/defogger that needs heat to operate.

FMVSS = Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. You'll notice it's a 30 page document detailing the testing of such systems.
