Default hard to shift

About a month and a half ago I got a adjustable clutch cable because it was getting really hard to shift. Got it all adjusted and worked great for about 2 weeks and then had to tighten it some more because it got hard to get in gear again. It has progressively gotten worse, with my clutch pedal all the way down and if I put the shifter into gear my car is shaking. I have ran out of room to continue to tighten the cable so I can get it into gear smoothly. Also my pedal squeaks extrememly annoyingly unless I have my foot resting on it. So with this said is a new clutch in order or is there something that I am missing?

Is it grinding when it goes in or just not going in at all??Could be a bad clutch or bad syncros

Take it ino Ford, and have them give you the 1K upgrade they offered last year for new syncros. That is your problem.

Its a aftermarket quadrant. Its just really hard to get into gear, grinds when putting in reverse and clunks in first gear. What do you mean exactly by the synchros, how much does that cost to get replaced? Thanks again
