Default i need more power.

well next week i go to pick up a 95 gt 5 speed but im used to z28's and trans am as most of my friends have ls1's this is going to be the only pony car in the group and i dont want to get my *** kicked and i know nothing about mustangs or the 5.0 in general and need help picking out bigger parts. right now on my order list is 3.73 gears, B&M short throw shifter, Cold air, and a cam(dont know what one yet) i need help figuring out what cams, heads, intake, and headers to get. it already has flowmaster exhaust and high performance clutch but i need more power than 225 or so. i figure the gears and short throw shifter will give a slight chance with the lt1's but i want to smoke them and the ls1's

Choose your own adventure:

1) supercharger
2) N/A (heads, cam, raise compression, fuel management, etc)
3) turbo
4) N2O

tweecer RT is an interface for your EEC that'll allow you to tune it. Slap all of those parts on out of the box and it'll run, but it won't be optimized. My A/F ratio is all out of whack, fairly rich, and I need to dial it in. the RT means that it's the realtime datalogging version - so you can see what is going on.

PMS I still don't know exactly how it works, since the link that vfast gave me was some snomobile shop or something and I couldn't see a link for any engine management stuff.

Quick ramp quadrant I can only guess is the clutch quadrant so you don't need as much pedal travel for faster shifting.

Summitracing.com has a lot of parts that you can find, and also partshopper.com (derived from stangnet.com) has parts too.

No offense..wrong year 5.0 unless you want to put a lot of money into it, how much did you payfor this "bargain"? I wish you luck with the LT1 LS1 rompin'...but hey if you get beat it will be by an American Car not some homo sounding import, right?!
