Default Installing gauges...please hel

ok, so today i got the "gauge cage" from autometer along with a mechanical water temp gauge and a voltmeter. i was just wondering- 1)does anybody know the best way to wire the lights? and...2)for the water temp., where would i put the fitting (mechanical gauge) in the block? is therea certain place to do it? thanks again...cya

all your sensors should go into the existing spots.

alright, thanks. what about the lighting though? i found that if you spliced into any other lights they just dim really bad (ie-gauge cluster, a/c cluster).</P>

ok...so i'm looking for the original water temp sensor...can't find it...i just bought the car not too long ago so i haven't bought a haynes manual or whatever for it...any help would be great...thanks<IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">

it should be in the lower intake towards the front. the lights just hook them up in the fuse panel it is the easiest.

Wire them in with the illumination wire of your CD player/stereo.
The ECU fuse would be the easiest (not sure what other fuses are in Mustangs, i don't own one), but the lights will always be on (with the key turned to the "on" postition of course). <edited><editID>O 16581 72452 5</editID><editDate>37962.183275463</editDate></edited>
