Default Adjustable clutch quadrant

Right now I have the "old" style adjustable quadrant where you have to adjust it at the fork. Can I switch to the new style where you adjust on the firewall? Has anyone made the swap and what did you have to change? Do they use a different quadrant? Not that it would be hard to change now that the pain in the a$$ stock plastic one is gone.

The firewall adjusting kit is 3 pieces consisting of the quadrant, adj. cable, and firewall adjuster. The individual parts can be purchased separately which is what it seems u did. You have 2 of the 3 parts. All you need is to purchase the firewall adjuster.
