Default Equal length headers without lifting the engine...

Anyone try installing shorty equal length headers without having to lift the engine? People are telling me I can without having to do so. Others tell me its impossible to install the passenger side header without raising the engine. Any help? Thanks.

when i did mine i didn't really have to "lift" the engin more like pry it up. i put a pry bar on the engin mount and moved it about an inch. that was enough for my buddy to slide it in. the other header is way easier.

take the passenger side valve pan off and it will go in easy or you can try and move the engine, to me its just easier to take the valve pan off.

And what exactly do I need to remove to get to the valve cover? Just the TB? EGR too?

I did it without lifting the engine, but my hands were like lobster claws at the end of the day.
