hello i'm having a problem with my Aod in my 88 gt i think the trans came from a 87-88 t-bird/cougar that has the column shifter we had to flip the lever to match up with the trans that came out of my car we replaced the neutral safety switch today. when we put the switch in it wouldnt start in park but starts in neutral and when it in drive it stayed running but when put in 1st it shut right off does the same when put in park! than we tryed tighten up the switch more than it got worse it started in neutral when put in drive in slammed in gear and shuts right off does anyone heard of anything like this before... thanks
