nope, no aim

I haven't made it to the strip yet. Before I go I need new tires. These kumho 712's suck major sphincter.

I can tell you that it runs neck and neck with a 240sx with the jdm silvia turbo swap - ~240hp at the crank and 5-700 pounds lighter, up to about 140mph where we ran out of road.

I need to do some serious tuning though. I've been getting about 6mpg around town, which isn't right. I'm dumping serious amounts of gas down the exhaust.

Since then I've removed a couple hundred pounds from the car (entire roof gone, all sound insulation stripped that I could). It needs a cage. I don't know if they'll let me run if I don't have any sort of roof.

I never like the abc cams form offers..reason why is they don't address the exhaust flow problem...you need a lil more lift and dur on the exhaust instead of the single pattern cam

single patterns are nice for blowers and turbos.

which is where mine's headed.

But then whenever I get around to it (and the money) the engine/tranny is going into a Miata. Show me an easier way to shave a thousand pounds off the mustang... (and make it water tight)

www.monstermiata.com

The guy who sells the kits (crossmembers, exhaust, etc) says that some dude with a blown 5.0 miata had it up to 175 on a track. Nuts.

I like the rumble and whine better than just going the flyin miata turbo route.
