Default trans problems?

hey guys im a new member and new owner of a 95 GT i bought it back in may and lately ive been feeling the trans start off in second gear and eventually run smoothly and during this time it sound like a folgers can with beans in it ive taken it to 4 trans shops and they all said it was fine because during the test drive it didn't act up making me look like an idiot i'd appreciate any help

drop teh transmisison pan, and see if they have any metal shavings, or is your check engine lgiht on? one of your solenoids migh tbe bad.

no check engine light but my tachometer doesn't work only when i tap the dash one of the trans shops said that thats why it was probably doing that and there's a sensor behind the dash or some nonsense like that and ill drop my pan tomorrow to check that out thanks

if your tach doenst work that wont make it take off in second.. does it only do it when cold?

nope it does when its all warmed up and when its cold and its tempremental it'll drive like a dream and shift so smoothly thats why i'm confused

My 94 Gt is having tranny probs too. I will be driving at 50mph and it shifts outta overdrive and the r's go up about 800-1200 rpms i had a few friends say it is the overdrive. Any ideas?

ok i talked to my dad( he rebuilds transmissions professionally at his own shop) he said that your one way sprag in your foward drum is about to go. all in 26 yeras of experience!
