Default Four eye hid' s or upgrade bulbs

My 85 gt has the 4 headlights. There is water on inside. And are kinda dim. Is there a hid kit for them or am i limited to swapping out just the bulbs? IF SO WHAT ARE THE BULB#

I'm sure they make an hid bulb for your car. If you don't get the bulb size here just contact the hid manufacturer of choice and ask them. I think my 92 uses h3. I'll confirm before I order tho

Never heard of the 4 argh thread hijacked lights lmao but factory the cars came with sealed beam headlamps. You can convert to h4 and h1 bulbs, just make sure you get the right stuff (high and low lenses are different) and with a beam pattern, none of the euro-clear junk. From there if you wanted to upgrade to hid you would need h4 and h1 kits

Maybe i'm wrong here but my local autozone had a book telling me exactly what kind of bulb to get for the 91 so i'd imagine your local autozone has the same thing.

Yes with sealed beam you replace the whole unit, however they're a lot cheaper than replacing a composite headlight.

A whole composite lamp maybe, but compared to the bulbs they aren't. You are also limited as far as options and beam patterns, so I always upgrade. Keep in mind if you install h1 bulbs you gotta clip the factory plug and splice in new wires. It isn't hard just a heads up

No, do NOT get those. Look into autopals, I have ran them on 3 different cars, they have a very good beam pattern on them and are reasonably priced. I will find some for you here in a bit
