computer question about 95 gt and 89 lx

will a 95 computer go in to a 89 ? if not is there any way to pull my chip out of my 95 ecu and put it in my 89 ecu

Not positive, but I seriously doubt it. 95 ECU has a totally different transmission strategy therefore the pinouts would likely be way different.

ok but i pulled my chip out its a diablo sport part number r1000 can this be put in a 89 ecu bc ive looked everywhere and they both show a r1000 part number
