Default 1990 Boggs :(

It happens sometime under hard acceleration, reg driving then all of the sudden car seemed to stutter and bogg. I let off the gas coast then it back to normal. Last time it happened I replaced all plugs, wires, rotor and dist cap. It improved some with the occasional bogg so here I am asking for advise. I also noticed a clanking sound which leads me to believe it may be the bad fuel.... I only use 93 octane, God only knows if its really 93 with all the additives and crap nowadays. Engine has 285.000 on it, rebuilt at 160.000 after seeing head gasket was about to go. Machined, Big cam, cold air kit, pulleys, timing set at 12 Degrees, Headers, no cats, Macs with turn downs and 373's out back.
So my plan is to do a clean up to throttle body, MAF. make sure TPI is at 98.0 and have a look see if O2 sensors need replacing. Note, its my daily driver. Mostly 30 mile drive back n forth to work with the occasional woop *** to a ricer when they ask for it
Thats all I can think of for now to look into, any advise would be greatly appreciated. I have never checked for codes, will invest in a code reader soon but until then I'll try the usual maintenance checks.
