computer question

Default computer question

My buddy just got a 93 gt it has the 3CW computer (it's bad) can I swap it to an A9P or would you have to change pins in harness sorry dont know much about computers any help is greatly appriciated.

Never heard of a 3cw, but yeah it should work just fine. A9P is an auto computer, if your buddy has a 5spd he's gonna want an A9L.

Its auto so no problem there.
I have another question about mine though I have an 86 doing mass air conversion on it I have A9L computer but for hardtop I have a convertible I can still use it right?
Sorry just not farmilliar with computers.
