Ok I have motor out of my 92. I cleaned an primed the whole engine bay. I want tO paint engine bay flat or gloss black. The car is dark green and not sure of it will look good. I no thought with the black it will look much cleaner.

What should I do. Spray black or spray it to match car?

 

I always liked the engine bay to match the car. Brightens up under the hood unless the car is black of course.

 

I think when the cars engine bay matches car makes it look good, so different colors bay/exterior make car cheaper.., i wouldnt pay as much as if it was the same!!

The car is fully caged and braced and one aluminum seat ,fuel cell , parachute everything. I don't think someone will pay less just bc engine bay is black.

 

Go with the green engine bay. Trust me you will regret making it black. I resprayed mine green, looks good.
