Default Bad IAC?

After I drive for a while and I come to a stop my idle is around 1700...if I turn the car off and start it back up it idles fine. But then once I start driving and come to a stop again it will idle high. Doesn't always do it though. If I unplug the iac with the car running it doesn't change the idle or anything

pull the iac off and get some cleaner and clean it out. If cleaning it doesnt clear it up then you may think about replacing it.
Here is somthing else to look at though, check all your vacuum lines to be sure one isnt cracked or loose.

Like Dawson said, you'll want to pull the iac off and clean it with maf/carb cleaner. Mine did the same idle yours is doing. I would clean the maf sensor while your at it

I cleaned it but still does it once in a while...not all the time. The maf is fairly new...it's an sn-95 maf and I have only about 1000 miles since I put it in

Replace it. Cleaning doesn't always work 100%
