Default top end replacement

Bout to replace my whole top end. heads, cam, pushers, intake etc. etc. is there something that is often overlooked when replacing this that i need to do? for example, im replacing the timing chain while I replace the cam for convinience and as I understand it, it is recomended.

lifters, valves, roller rockers, and gaskets (of course). Why are you replacing instead of rebuilding/reconditioning?
