no Idea I don't have that in my 94. It may well just be relays for the top of the covertable model

Nope, not relays for the top. That is a pic I got off of google, my vert doesn't have that box there. Here's a pic of the module.

I just did a quick search and it seems that module is supposed to be behind that big black plastic cover that's mounted on the side of the trunk.

Do you have any pics of what you have in your trunk?

This is the same as I have in my trunk, minus the little black box in the bottom of the pic that says keyless entry (:

But all the wiring is there

Does your cars interior light come on when the doors are locked and you pull the door handle? If so you have the keyless entry .

My 94 is in the trunk behind all the plastic on the drivers side .. I had to jump a set of wires on a plug back there to program my remote.

1995 Mustang
1. Turn ignition to RUN or ACC.
2. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located in LR quarter panel area (Connector will not be plugged into anything, it will have two pins inside it, if you have to unlug it you have the WRONG one. Not all vehicles are set up from factory for keyless remotes) All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode.
3. Press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
4. If programming a second keyless remote, press any button on second keyless remote.
Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
5. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

Look in the LR quarter panel of the trunk for this plug and momentarily jump the 2 prongs I have indicated with a black jumper.

At least that's how I programmed mine I didn't even know I had that feature till the guy up the street told me about it and gave me a key fob and showed me how , he worked at ford for years building the mustangs.

Hey I have a question. I stumbled across this thread while googling the same situation with a 95 I just bought. First I have to confirm today when I get home that the black box is behind the plastic housing.

My question is in your pics, I see a connector that has a green wire jumper. Is that something you did while programming also? I ask because that grey connector doesn't have a jumper on in my wrecked 95. I just bought another 95 and want to use the key fob's for it.

Also it seems like you are saying to jumper the programming connector twice but I also could have misinterpreted what you were saying.

That green jumper was there from the factory as far as I know, it was always there.
No you don't have to jump it twice, just jump it for a moment. Then pull it, the doors should lock and unlock and it will be in programing mode. Just do steps 1-5

i was able to get it to work earlier. Just the way you wrote it seemed like it had to be done twice ................

tried the other methods yesterday with switching ignition on 8 times within 10 secs after a few other steps. It didn't work. Not sure rather it would work with jumpering that connector but either way your method was quicker and easier.

Thanks
