can someone tell me where computer is located on 89 mustang any ideas how to tell if bad any symptoms if i hook my computer or engine check shows no codes shows ok but car has like a miss to it at idel changed distributor cap, rotor,wires,coil,plugs, cleaned maf sensor,replaced IAC,and throttle sensor,altinator,battery about out of ideas any help thanks michael

 

did you happen to check your plugs?

 

The computer is on the passenger side foot well, behind the plastic trim on the right side. It's not likely connected with your problem. I'd pull codes again, with a different code reader.
