took the engine apart, putting it back together now.
put the alternator on, ran the wire back where it was, over the coil bracket to the terminal post. fine.
problem is i dont see anything in the vicinity that A and B could connect to.
i assume they dont just sit there unconnected.
now, looking at the pic, there is a plug showing right between A and C, but that doesnt fit A, tried it. i mean, i think i tried it, i mean, its right there and im looking for a plug, i must have tried it, right? sigh, im 99.9% sure that that plug isnt the answer for A.
and then there is C. this is not on the alternator harness, it comes out of a harness that is coming out of the fender. this one i think maybe does just sit there unconnected.
i dont have the coil on yet, but looking at it, theres nothing there that would solve this issue. the distributor isnt in yet either, but these wouldnt reach the distributor even if there was any connectors there for them.
Im not certain but I think B is for the AC compressor, while A,C are not for any thing that I know of, Im pretty sure My cars had those to left unhooked.
so, in case it could help somebody down the road, i found homes for both A and B
A connects to a plug coming out of the fender. cant see it in the pic above.
B connects to the compressor
C i am going to assume is not connected to anything
