that's why it doesn't have the extension.....94-95 didn't use such......93 and below did...all you need is the extension I posted a link to is post 21.......most 80's 302 at a salvage yard will have them.....or order one or pm me 15 shipped to your door

That's the weird part is I took my old unit straight off my 93 and it didn't have that either. I just checked it's because they only did it up to 89. Ok. Worst case I can just get that.

No, you're right. That will work, and thank you for that information! What I am going to do is see if my buddy has a 1/4 by 1/4 adapter fitting that will fit (so I don't have to spend money), but if he does not I will buy yours. I'll let you know later today.
