Default Spark Plug Question

Hi! I have a 1985 Ford Mustang GT, built some and wondering what others recommend for a spark plug. 351w ported and polished heads. Lunati can, Edelbrock RPM intake and Edelbrock 750 carb. It's been 20yrs since I built this machine and have BSF 82c plugs in it which are the large plugs I'm told ..13/16 inch with 18mm head. Is that the plug of choice for what others know..it seems to be a more "uncommon" choice, I've heard and aren't as common when purchasing... Any thoughts. Thanks for the time

If you've been running those plugs for 18 years why change now ? There's really nothing to gain from the spark plug hype your probably reading about lol.

Are you having any issues with those plugs now ?

Thank you. I appreciate the welcome. You made a good point..its been sitting for the last 15 plus years and I'm getting it ready for my son. Diagnosed with cancer so I figured I'd share it with him when he turns 16 next month. Just getting it in the best shape possible by reconditioning it as much as I can. Only 48K miles on it but figured I'd go through it. Been sitting around here in TN for years. Went to replace them (just for maintenance) and noticed how "uncommon" they seem to be. Seems that I remember getting those 351w heads and recall the person telling me they came off a truck. Can't recall everything tho. I did order replacements but, just got to wondering if that is the right one since they're in a car now. No big deal, just wondering people's thoughts is all...thanks

Glad to help, and I'm sorry to hear that diagnosis. Hopefully they'll be many good days ahead.

As for the plugs, I'd just run the same ones that are in there. Nice and safe lol.

if you want new plugs, cross the ford number on them to autolite, probably one of the better plugs for such applications...use a standard copper core resistor plug.
