Default EFI Problems

I have a 87 droptop 5.0 and i burned the ECU in it. Well the one that i have was the wrong one and i having trouble finding the correct one? Thinking about switching to Carb.. Any objections??

If you can tune a carb well, and emissions testing isn't an issue then by all means go that way. You clean up a lot of wiring and space, but you also have to change vacuum routing and lines. Another route is to convert to mass air. It requires a different harness but the computers are a lot easier to find. I'm sure there are write ups on both options in this forum.
