Default Code 122

Hello all. I have a 1995 cobra that I purchased new in 1995. I am getting a code 122 low voltage at tps and my car will not start. Will this actually cause my car not to start ? Or should I be looking elsewhere? Car has ran fine up until now.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Sorry for the delay, Thanks for the advise,it was my PIP sensor again. I had replaced it it less than 300 miles ago and it went bad, no spark no fuel pressure. Cheap AutoZone distributor, replaced with performance distributors brand and fired right up.

Thanks again

By PIP sensor, assuming you mean the TFI Module, best replacement choice seems to be Motorcraft. Large amounts of gibberish have been recorded relating to TFIs made by non-reputable source (Chinese?), vs name brand, vs Ford certified seem to lean towards avoidance of the foreign ****. imp

NO PIP is profile ignition pickup. Its inside of the distributor. Its job is to tell the computer where the crank is positioned. When they go out the computer has no idea where the crank is positioned so you loose spark and fuel injector pulse. Its a precambrian crank sensor.
