Anyone know what this is for? I have my engine out and figured I’d paint the engine bay while it’s out. I removed a bunch of the wiring on the passenger side to get better access but I can remember what this is for for the life of me. It’s on the same harness as the connectors that go to the fan/rad connections. It’s hard to see but the wires are black, green/orange, blue/yellow and pink. It may be an empty one too since my car has no ac and the emissions control equipment has been removed.
I'll check that, but it doesn't seem to be in the right spot for it. I still have my egr it's just sitting in a bin in my car hold. The other thing I was thinking was something to do with my smog pump which used to be right there but I don't think it has any connections on it
By the way, the part in question is an electrical wire harness connector. If memory serves me, it's from a 94 Ford Gran Turismo. You sir are most welcome.

The evp sensor thats mounted to the egr valve & the evr solenoid thats mounted inside the passenger fender have the colors listed further down this post,so I doubt the harness plug is related to either of them + the harness plug has 4 wires vs 3 for the evp sensor & 2 for the evr solenoid + the evp & evr are not located anywhere near that plugs location.
The smog pump doesn't have any wiring related specifically to it and the wiring for the thermactor bypass & diverter solenoids (mounted inside the passenger fender) that supply vacuum to the bypass & diverter valve, are also not located anywhere near the plugs location that your image shows,so this rules them out too as being related to the harness plug in question.
I was thinking it could possibly have been a harness plug for one of the crash sensors, but those sensors use a 3 wire harness with the chassis as the sensors ground, plus their wire colors dont match what you listed.I'll browse through a wiring diagram in a few to see if I have any success. Can you pickout or id the plugs location in the diagram below or is it too grainy to see or is it not present at all in this diagram from what you can see?? How many wires does your foglights use,two for each light??

it’s right in that area but it’s hard to tell which wire loom it comes off of in that diagram. I can’t figure it out from the wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual but that’s hardly unusual
Is it possible the wire you listed as lt blue/yellow could be lt blue/orange instead?? Ive found a black,dk green/orange & lt blue/
orange wire coming from the CCRM,but I haven't found the pink wire yet, unless its a red wire that looks pink due to fading?? If its red instead & the yellow wire is orange instead, all 4 wires you listed originate at the CCRM.Was this harness plug disconnected already before you pulled the engine or did you disconnect it yourself & now you're trying to pin down what it goes to??
