I recently bought a 94 cobra roller, I bought an engine that I told was from a 93 fox body but the person told me an untruth about it, when I researched the engine out it seems to be from a 87 crown vic. The computer is set for factory 24lb injectors and I have 19s in it now but it runs really rough. Will putting 24s in with this engine help it or make it worse?

 

It should make it "better", the ecu is setup to run with 24# injectors (assuming you're using the original cobra ecu)

5.0HOs from about '89 to '95 came with 19lb. injectors. '93 Cobra had 24#, with different Mass Air Sensor tuning, different PCM. '95-'95 Cobra I'm not sure of, as I owned a '93. Ford Motorsports sold a conversion kit which allowed use of 24# in place of 19#; kit came with Mass Air Sensor, PCM, and injectors. I used this kit to convert a '68 351W in a Mustang to EFI.
