Does anyone know if there is a big differnce in the Gt40 Y and the GT40 X heads? Is it just that the GT40X "which I have" have bigger everything ? I am just wondering if its the exact same head cept ported out more?

wait, im not sure how the ports will match up. the increase would be small and not worth ripping into a well-running engine for</P>

I think Im going to go with AFR's 185cc, if not Twisted Wedge. (Ive got bbk shorties and flowmasters, getting o/r x pipe soon)</P>
Ill take the 185cc's if I don't have to notch pistons or anything like that, if not Ill settle for the Twisted Wedge.</P>
After I get AFR Ill port and polish intake/heads.</P>

i would go with the twisted wedge heads to match the intake. the are make to work perfectly with eachother so there will be no port matching problems. </P>
the arfs are good also</P>

AFRs flow better, the 185s at least, i think it might be worth it to port match them. I think if I got the Twisted Wedge, I'd want to upgrade to the AFR's later on wo why waste the money ya know?
