Electrical plug location help

Does anyone know where this plug connects to? I have a 93 GT 5.0 with a manual transmission, if that matters. The length of the wire tells it goes somewhere along the steering column area. I even have a factory manual and I can't find it mentioned on the wiring diagram. Thanks in advance.
