Don't disqualify my knowledge based on the number of posts I have on a website... If I have truck questions I'm gonna go to a truck forum... Which btw there are no harder working, longer lasting, or more confortable trucks than the late seventies Fords. Also, the big block F150s are fast for a truck... Also, if I went to a camaro forum and asked them questions about my Fox body they'ld flip out... Finally, I've been on here for a few weeks at most and have only seen answers to questions that require aftermarket, money burning, solutions. I'm getting bent out of shape about it. Everyone looks to spend tons of money as if that's a sign of their Mustang dedication/knowhow. I think by spending under 2000 bucks even after purchasing the car and running in the high 13's and low 14's you are accomplishing more than by buying a car for 2500 and spending 5000 dollars on top brand pullies, Mass airflow sensors, throttle bodies, heads, cams, upper intakes, lower intakes etc. to get 13.5 . I guarranty it, traction permitting, that for another 2000 bucks I could run in the low 13's and with Vbelts, a PAW cam, a pertronics ignitor on a points distributor I got for free, and some modified factory heads.... Money is not the speed solution... brains are... Nuff said..

I don't like fuel injection, never have, never will, but I won't make fun of a fuely Mustang. I'll always be changing jets and shooters and power valves and milling choke horns and whatnot because that's what I love to do. I'ld rather spend 5 bucks on jets than 200 on injectors.
