ok, so i want the loudest exaust possible. What would be the best setup for under $800?

 

Just run straight long tube headers... Or you can do it the right way. o/r h or x pipes with headers and loudmouth or spintech mufflers would be really loud.

 

no exhaust!!! hack away until nothin is left but headers!!! jk dont really do that

 

i run open exhaust off my cats...it's pretty loud, but it sounds...hondaish at higher rpm, you'd be better off just putting some flowmasters on it, the loud exhaust all the time gets old fast.

I agree with the longtube/x-pipe flowmaster 40 series combo. I have 1-3/4" bbk lontubes, bbk x-pipe, 40 series flowmasters. I loooove the way my car sounds. I've tried dumps and tailpipes. The tailpipes are plenty loud enough for most people. I'm pretty picky about how a car sounds too [:@]

 

i love the way mine sounds and it's unequal headers, O/R H-pipe, and flows. i like the sounds of H better than X casue H is more of the classic mustang rumble.

with LT's you have to watch out b/c if you're not kicking out 350+ HP then you'll actually loose HP and low end torque.
