Default new car, new problems!

Got a new 88 notch this week, really nice looking car, but has a number of issues. The biggest being, a serious vacum leak, really rough and fluxuating idle, and brakes come and go. Wants to go from 500 -1800 rpm's. Any suggestions where to look, I have done a few things, cant seem to locate it. Any suggestions?
Also, water is leaking from the pipe that goes into the passenger side, front/top side of the intake, and runs back toward the firewall. Is that a Ford only part or can I buy it aftermarket?
Thanks. John1614.

Default RE: new car, new problems!

The metal line is the heater core piping on your intake and that would be a scrap yard part and as for the intake i would start with the lower intake..just use some carb cleaner and spray the area and vacum lines while the car is running if the idle change's while you spray a certain spot then you found the vacum leak..
