Default NOS???

Hey I have a question about NOS,...

I have a 1993 SVT Cobra with about 105k miles on it. The car is BONE stock and runs as smooth as glass. It was really well taken car of. I have mods planned which arecoming are full exhaust from headers/h-pipe/cat back/cold air intake/cam ect,....

The car stock has better heads & intake with the bigger t/b & 24lb injectors than the normal 5.0 engine.

My question #1 is after I finish those mods would it be able to handle any NOS & if so how much of a shot?

and #2- with the mileage on the car is it not safe for it??

Thanks so much,...

If the car is running good it shouldnt be a problem.. They have a lot of NOS systems that you can use on virtually stock motors..... Theres always some upgrades that are recommended but you dont have to... Depending on how powerful a system you want, more of a shot it would prolly be a good idea to have forged pistons, forged steel or aluminum rods and crankshaft... With high cylinder pressures motor needs high

heavy duty cylinder hed and main stud. big concern would be your fuel and ignition... You may have to go with an aftermarket fuel pump.. With NOS your burning more fuel.. and you may need an igniton that has retard capabilities.... Theres a system from NX that does not need you to do any retard of ignitoon timing..... But it just depends on how much of a juice monkey you want to be.......

an adjustable nx kit would work gtreat 35-150 shot a 100 shot would be ok but I would upgrade your fuel pump to a 155 or 190lph
