Default 5.0 help



i have a 1987 LX with a copletely built 302 in it but does not seem to make any more power than stock. need help with tuning&lt;See below for complete list of upgrdes&gt; will soon be adding MSD 6 plus ignitionand billet dis. and timing adj. with SS blaster coil. also have full mandrul 2" exsuast no cats. motor does not make power please help. 4:10 rearend</P>

ok this will help

first you have the wrong intake,injectors are too big as is you t/b and 2" exhaust is less than stock..
try this
24 injectors
trick flow or close to it
65mm throttle body

you t/b is bigger than your maf so it's useless to a point..see the things need to work together
2" exhaust? they were 2.25in stock your need a 2.5" set up

heis right, you should have planned it out a little better, or asked someone who knows about the topic before you bought the parts. if you are planning on modding it a lot more then keep the parts, but they are the wrong ones for your setup now. </P>

I agree with vfast.... project was poorly planed....everything must be set up to work together..in this case, its not....

yea you f**k'd yourself. whoever planned your ride. is an idoit. should of did research first. you just wasted your money. and have fun trying to find ppl to buy that stuff of yours.

i figure someone with no exp with cars would know not to downgarde your exhaust size... hell i just put an off road h-pipe ( not cats) on mine and bought a 2.5 to go with it</P>

look no rease to call me names because i have money to waste. for i planned and built the car (yes it is my first and took a little under a month too complete) i just want help tuning the damn car plans for a super charger do exist thats why i have #30 pound injectors. the 2" Exsaust was with no cats was to atemped to gain a little bottom end. after removeing the 2.5 with no cats. i do not need people to take shots just help.

Yeah. What they said.
65mm TB, 24lb injectors, larger exhaust, perhaps different intake manifolds.

But do keep the other stuff if you plan on slapping forced induction on it.

Wait. Tell us the truth. You drive a honda don't you?

i drivea 2500 hd lifted 12 inches with 39 inch tires but i play with my stang </P>
